The SDC accused the Syrian opposition of encouraging terrorist groups such as ISIS, al-Nusra and it’s sister organizations to invade northern Syria and provoke wars between the ethnic groups in the region.

“Despite this, coalition members continue to assert that these factions are part of their revolution against the regime,” the SDC said.

The SDF’s political wing said that the PYD, which is part of the SDC, “represents the people of the region to create a democratic self-administration that can manage its affairs until a new Syria is created.”

“We firmly believe in the Kurdish issue and the need to solve it within the framework of the next democratic federal Syria and we also believe in the coming victory over extremism and terrorism,” the council said.

Moreover, the SDF accused the coalition of hiding the practices of Islamist groups supported by Turkey and allied with the al-Qaeda branch in Syria against the civilians, including murder, enforced disappearance and systematic displacement.
